LLFITC are delighted to have delivered a successful six weeks of football camps over the summer period.
This summer saw LLFITC deliver daily sessions each weekday throughout the school holidays, which saw an increase in numbers to previous camps with more than 500 participants ranging from ages 4-13 taking part within the camps. Prior to the camps new additions were added to the LLFITC programme which included current Llandudno FC players Harvey Bennett, Cameron Darling and Bryn Williams. The appointments of such personnel along with others have proved pivotal to the increase in numbers on the camps, as they have given the children an alternative number of voices and pairings bringing with them new ideas, sessions and overall a better structure across the days and weeks.
In addition to the daily general camps have also been a handful of variants with weekly Goalkeeper and Girls camps added to the programme as well as fortnightly PAN Disability camps held over a half a day.
There have also been rewards for individuals with complimentary first team fixture tickets given to those who have attended and set an example not just in relation to their performance on the pitch but for other aspects such as behaviour and showing respect to all involved.
Attention will now turn to our October Camps as LLFITC look to replicate the numbers that have attended over the summer and also bolt on further camps.
Finally and most importantly thank you to all those who visited The Go Goodwins Stadium this summer and attended our camps and we hope to see you again come the Autumn half term in nine weeks’ time.
