Michael Jones Announced As New Goalkeeper Coach 🧤

We're excited to release the news of Michael Jones becoming our new goalkeeper coach for the 24/25 season while he will also continue as a player.

The 36 year old signed for Llandudno in the 2024 January Transfer Window as an experienced goalkeeper who's made over 150 Welsh Premier League appearances and 2 appearances in the Europa League Qualifying Rounds.

Michael commented:

"I was really excited when the opportunity came about to extend my playing career and also step into the coaching side of football, It's something which I've been thinking about for a while and it seems to be the natural progression for me. I'm delighted to be joining the amazing coaching team we have at the club and I look forward to working with the great young keepers at Llandudno and hopefully play a pivotal role in their development."

Manager, Jordan Hadaway said:

"Having known Carrots for a long time now I know he can bring so much to the playing group but also to the management team. His knowledge and experience will be pivotal this season. Alongside this, his personality is exactly what we want at the football club, he is a top professional. I think it’s a brilliant addition to have him working closely with all of our goalkeeper's at the club"
